<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture reproduction system and a moving picture reproduction method by which the position of a sound source is designated and the pronunciation of an object can be spatially and clearly identified by a viewing and listening person. <P>SOLUTION: The moving picture reproduction system includes: a planar display device 50; a planar speaker group 60 provided on the front side of the display device 50; and woofers 71, 72. A video reproducing device 30 reproduces a video image from a moving picture file 11 to display the video image on the planar display device 50 and a sound reproducing device 20 reproduces a sound from the moving picture file 11 to output the sound from the planar speaker group 60 and the woofers 71, 72. In this case, when the sound reproducing device 20 synthesizes sound data reproduced from the moving picture file 11, a filter 23 separates the sound data into high and low registers, the planar speaker group 60 reproduces the sound at the high register and the woofers 71, 72 reproduce the sound at the low registers. A sound source reproduction device 40 sets a temporal and spatial threshold to designate a speaker 61 having to reproduce the sound accompanied by the change of the speaker in charge of reproduction so as to execute reproduction without a sense of incongruity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
