<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of planning the start and stoppage of a generator, which can achieve the optimization of the running cost, when an error has occurred in a data estimate used for power demand estimation in the start and stop plan of the generator operated for a system and enables the total cost reduction, by improving the accuracy estimation especially, when the power demand differs from the estimate due to error in air-temperature estimation. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of planning the start and stop of the generator, which makes a power generation plan by estimating, on the day before, the load demand on the following day, when error has occurred between the real demand on that day and the estimate, a similar day, when the demand pattern is similar to the real demand on that day is selected from predetermined study days; and the subsequent load demand estimation is modified, based on the demand on the selected similar day, and the generator start and stop plan is modified, based on a new estimate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
