METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a transflective type liquid crystal display which has an improved yield and reflection efficiency of an uneven pattern and is manufactured through simple steps.

SOLUTION: The method includes the stages of: providing an insulating substrate; forming gate lines extended laterally on the insulating substrate and data lines crossing the gate lines in an electrically insulated state to define a pixel region; forming a thin film transistor in an intersection region of the gates line and data lines; forming an organic protective film on the thin film transistor; forming the uneven pattern on the organic protective film by arranging a mold having an uneven pattern corresponding to the pixel area on the organic protective film and pressing the mold; and forming a pixel electrode on the organic protective film.
