PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically extract information in the periphery of a route from a dynamic information database, so as to be added and exhibited, when a start point, an arrival point and the route therebetween get clear. SOLUTION: In this method/device of the present invention, information as to the start point and the arrival point is input, the route when passing an event held point is searched, based on the start point and the arrival point, and event information acquired from an event database having peripheral held event information, and whether the searched route satisfies a given condition or not is determined to output the searched route and the event information satisfying the condition.
