PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic vibration generating element which is simplified and small-sized in structure, rich in mass-productivity, improved in impulse resistance, robust and improved in acoustic characteristics, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof and an acoustic vibration generating apparatus using the element. SOLUTION: An acoustic vibration generating element is comprised of a piezoelectric element 11 and a fixing member 21 for fixing the piezoelectric element 11 in a terminal portion, the piezoelectric element 11 is disposed on the fixing member 21 through an elastic member 22, and a piezoelectric element part 23 is thinner than the fixing member 21.
