PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of a desirable color conversion system at a point of time when color conversion processing is carried out among a plurality of color conversion systems. SOLUTION: In the image processing apparatus, a color conversion section 22 applies color conversion to a prescribed part region of input image data by using at least one color conversion system among the color conversion systems, a color conversion system selection section 21 selects the color conversion system for applying color conversion to the input image data on the basis of a result of the color conversion, the color conversion section 22 applies color conversion to at least part of the input image data on the basis of the selected color conversion system, and an image data output section 24 outputs its result.
