PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board display system capable of confirming the backward field of view when images are projected by a projector. SOLUTION: The on-board display system is composed of a moving means capable of moving a screen S to the position for running or the position for stopping, a discriminating means to discriminate the running condition of a vehicle, the projector 12 to project images, a first controlling means to move the screen S to the position for stopping when the vehicle is judged to be at a standstill and to the position for running when judged as running, and a controlling means to control the operation of the projector in accordance with the position of the screen S.
