PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a healthy elastic string to be used for underpants, intended for solving such problems that it makes feel sick and is not good for health to wear underpants of a fixed elastic string length and strongly tighten for a long time because the figure of a waist measurement (a belly measurement) daily changes in many cases. SOLUTION: This healthy elastic string comprises one elastic string which has a nonstretchable fixed length string part 2 set on each of both the ends of a stretchable elastic part 1 of an almost half length of a waist measurement (belly measurement). A user passes the elastic string from the opening part 6 of underpants 4 through a string hole 5, ties the string part 2 on the opening part 6 and adjusts a string part knot 3 to fit the figure of the waist measurement (belly measurement).
