PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition comprising a biocide fixed in a polymeric resin, i.e. a biocide fixed with a resin. SOLUTION: The composition contains a high-Tg methyl methacrylate polymer and a biocide selected from 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one. More precisely, the composition comprises (a) 70% to 99% of a polymer comprising (i) 75% to 95% of monomer units derived from methyl methacrylate, and (ii) 5% to 25% of monomer units derived from 2-6C alkyl (meth)acrylates, and having Tg>20°C and Mw>100,000; and (b) 1% to 30% of a biocide comprising at least one of the 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and the 2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one.
