PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopper for plant stand capable of housing a flower pot etc. in the plant stand corresponding to the height of the flower pot etc. having various kinds of heights, and to provide combination of the stopper and the plant stand. SOLUTION: The plant stand 1 is made of wood, and has a hollow reversed truncated quadrangular pyramid whose width is reduced gradually toward its bottom. The stopper 2 for the plant stand is obtained by making metal wire into the state of a mesh, and has a shape of a reversed truncated quadrangular pyramid. The stopper 2 is stopped by the inner wall of the plant stand 1 at a part where the width of the stopper 2 coincides with the inner wall of the plant stand 1, and a container for housing a plant is placed on it.
