A cigar lighter for a vehicle is provided to prevent burn or fire, and to improve security by opening and closing an opening end in which a resistor is placed with a cover part and opening and closing the cover part with a handle. A cigar lighter is composed of a socket(100) fixed in a vehicle body and provided with plural recessed guide grooves(110) formed in an inner periphery, and a plug(200) inserted to the socket and contacted to an electrode for heating. The plug comprises an outer body(210) cylindrically formed, a resistor contained in the outer body, a handle(230) linearly moved and connected to the resistor, a first elastic member inserted to the outer body to elastically support the handle, a driving ring rotating at an end of the outer body and having plural projections inserted to the recessed guide groove, a cover part combined with the end of the outer body to open and close an opening part of the outer body in rotating the driving ring, and a second elastic member elastically supported between the handle and the driving ring. The cover part has a first hinge part combined with the end of the outer body by a hinge, and a second hinge part combined with the driving ring. Plural blades are formed isotropically in the outer body. |
