摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vehicle end portion structure capable of decreasing impact when a collision element colliding with a vehicle drops on a road surface, and inexpensively being structured. <P>SOLUTION: A horizontal part 26S at an upper end of a pipe 26 built in a radiator grille 24 is supported by a bracket, and the radiator grille 24 is made to be rotatable. When a distortion meter 52 detects collision of an upper portion and a center portion of the collision element 90, the radiator grille 24 is rotated in an arrow R1 direction by driving of an actuator 42, and reaches a projecting position. Therefore, the collision element 90 comes into contact with the radiator grille 24 during dropping from a hood 18, and impact when dropped on the road surface is weakened. The radiator grille 24 previously arranged on the vehicle 12 is used, so that it is not necessary to provide a new member, and the vehicle end portion structure can be inexpensively structured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
