<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment method constituted so as to biologically treat wastewater such as leachate or the like discharged from a final disposal site or the like, making it unnecessary not only to increase the supply pressure of biologically treated water to a reverse osmosis membrane but also to provide any new device or means and capable of markedly reducing an operation cost, and a wastewater treatment apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the wastewater treatment method for biologically treating wastewater such as leachate or the like and subsequently subjecting the treated wastewater to reverse osmosis membrane treatment, a denitrifying treatment process is performed in the biological treatment of wastewater such as leachate or the like and nitric acid is used as the washing liquid of a reverse osmosis membrane used in the reverse osmosis membrane treatment while the waste washing containing nitric acid after the washing of the reverse osmosis membrane is returned to the denitrifying treatment process or the front stage of the denitrifying treatment process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
