<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus capable of estimating the communication quality of a wireless communication system which is different from a wireless communication system under communication, in a short time by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A signal resulting from applying the baseband processing of a wireless communication system different from the original baseband processing of the wireless communication system to a known signal is stored as a reference signal in a reference signal library 7. Only a multimode wireless section 3 is set to a function corresponding to a wireless communication system to be estimated differently from a wireless communication system under communication, and in this state, a correlation is determined between a signal obtained by reception processing by the multimode wireless section 3 and a multimode baseband processing section 6 of the wireless communication system to be estimated and the reference signal. Based on a value of the correlation, the communication quality of a signal is estimated for the wireless communication system to be estimated differently from the wireless communication system under communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
