<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device capable of suppressing noise caused by an aerial vibration by horizontally vibrating a touch panel and capable of being thinned. <P>SOLUTION: The coordinate input device 1 includes: a liquid crystal display device 2; the transparent touch panel 3 which is arranged on the liquid crystal display device 2 and has an input surface 3a by which a coordinate input is performed in an X-Y direction; and a case 16 for internally storing the liquid crystal display device 2 and the touch panel 3. A vibration generator 4 is attached either to the touch panel 3 or to the case 16.
