PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape lapping apparatus having an ATC, which apparatus can automatically change the arrangements of various workpieces having different shaft diameters, different shaft widths, etc. by changing only a tape holder integrated type cassette shoe assembly for a machining unit. SOLUTION: The tape lapping apparatus comprises a plurality of common use machining units 50a, 50b which mount the integrated type cassette shoe assembly 11 and are supported on a base 51 so as to move in the axial direction X of a workpiece 72 and in the direction Z to approach to the workpiece 72; and an ATC device 130 capable of automatically changing the integrated type cassette shoe assembly 11, wherein the ATC device 130 comprises a magazine portion 57 for holding a plurality of integrated type changing cassette shoe assemblies 11b mounted to a square shape supporting frame 70 fixed on a base 51 on the upper portions of the common use machining units 50a, 50b; and a moving device 13 for mounting the integrated type changing cassette shoe assemblies 11b of the magazine portion 57 to any of a magazine portion changing position and the common use machining units 50a, 50b.
