摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nano-spray capillary needle, one set of electrodes, and a method for positioning a capillary input member to a mass spectrometer. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode system is formed as an assembly including two separate chips using a microfabriacation technology. Each chip is formed on an insulation plastic substrate. A first chip holds a capillary electro-spray needle and a mechanical positioning feature for an API mass spectrometer input member together with one set of partial electrodes. A second chip holds another one set of partial electrodes. A complete electrode system formed when the chips are assembled as a stacked construction becomes a trigger for forming Taylor corn, and the complete electrode system includes an einzel lens that can separate ion from an electrically natural material by focusing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
