METHOD FOR CHECKING GAS SENSOR AND GAS ALARM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for checking a gas sensor and a gas alarm, which prevents a filter function from degrading, without impairing quickness and ease of a checking operation. SOLUTION: A sensor cap is provided with: a sensor cap external cylinder 36 having a sword guard-shaped flange 36f at its lower end and a coarse gas filter 35 at its inside; and a sensor cap internal cylinder 37 which has a check-use venthole 37a at its lower side surface and a sword guard-shaped flange 37f at the lower end of the lower side surface, and which is inserted into the sensor cap external cylinder so as to contact it on the inside.
