PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for promoting crystallization of polyester pellets which have a reduced rate of crystallization, while suppressing blocking of the polyester pellets, and fusion to a vessel wall. SOLUTION: The method for promoting crystallization of the polyester pellets comprises mixing more than 3% by mass based on the total pellets of crystallized polyester pellets to the uncrystallized pellets in drying the polyester pellets by using a batch-wise apparatus. The preferable mixing ratio is less than 10% by mass from the view point of products yield. The drying is generally carried out at temperature over than the temperature-rise crystallization temperature, for 3-8 hours. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
