PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the design property by emphasizing a glossy feeling or a mat feeling by printing on the surface, and in addition, to enable the process to be performed by a well-known processing method, and to improve the shelf life as well. SOLUTION: For this paper cup, a paper is used as the base material, and the paper cup comprises a laminated material of which the outermost layer and the innermost layer are made of a polyethylene resin. On the inside of the polyethylene resin layer on the outermost layer of the laminated material, a layer made of a polyethylene terephthalate film or polypropylene is laminated for the high designedness paper cup. By laminating the layer made of the polyethylene terephthalate film or the polypropylene film on the internal side of the polyethylene resin layer on the outermost layer, the glossy feeling can be imparted on the surface of the paper cup. In addition, by applying a mirror processing or a mat processing on the polyethylene resin layer on the outermost layer, the glossy feeling or the mat feeling can be imparted, and the paper cup having a high designedness can be formed.
