摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat a large thick object to be heated as uniformly as possible by high frequency dielectric heating. SOLUTION: When the object, for example, a block 2 formed by piling thin wood pieces, is positioned between an upper electrode and a lower electrode and heated by high frequency dielectric heating, high frequency dielectric heating in which an upper electrode 11 is a power supply side electrode and a lower electrode 12 is a grounding side electrode and high frequency dielectric heating in which an upper electrode 13 is a grounding side electrode and a lower electrode 14 is a power supply side electrode are applied. When the large thick object is heated by high frequency dielectric heating, the temperature of a part of the object close to the power supply side electrode becomes higher than that of a part of the object close to the grounding side electrode.
