PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image displaying apparatus with a short responding time against a request of printing during executing a slide show, and to provide an image displaying method and an image displaying program. SOLUTION: The image displaying apparatus comprises a displaying unit for successively displaying a plurality of images by a specified period, an inputting unit for inputting the request of printing for the image displayed by the displaying unit, a printing preparing unit for starting a processing for forming printing data of the image displayed by the displaying unit by linking with the switch of the image being an object of displaying by the displaying unit regardless of presence/absence of inputting the request of printing, and an outputting unit for outputting the printing data to the printing unit in accordance with the request of printing.
