PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pleated filter, possessing excellent restoration properties when pleats are compressed, which enables fitting of the pleated filter through compression of the filter even when a frontage for fitting is narrower than the filter size, causing no leaks after fitting, causing low pressure loss, and possessing excellent capture efficiency. SOLUTION: The pleated filter is formed by pleating a fiber sheet, which possesses restoration properties represented by L2/L0>0.9 wherein a length (L2) is obtained when the pleated filter is compressed to have a length (L1) corresponding to 75% of a length (L0) in the pleating direction and maintained for 1 minute, and then the stress is released.
