PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ottoman chair for simply obtaining an optimum seated posture by only placing legs as a user remains seated so as to adjust the length of the ottoman corresponding to the constitution and a user's favor. SOLUTION: In the ottoman chari obtained by extending the front end of a seating part 2 to form the ottoman 1, a pressure sensing part 3 is provided at the ottoman 1, a pressure judging part 4 outputting a detecting signal according to a pressure value detected by this part 3 is provided by connecting the part 4 with the part 3, and an ottoman operating part 5 is provided to receive the detecting signal from the pressure judging part 4 to extendingly/contractingly operate the ottoman 1 according to this detecting signal.
