<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for automatically creating mounting data about a component selected using an electronic catalog of components. <P>SOLUTION: A data reading means 1 is so structured as to read image data and text data of components to be mounted by the component of the same kind from a component electronic catalog storing medium 12, and a data creating means 2 is so structured as to create the mounting data based on the data about mounting positions and the text data of components by each component to be mounted from the data reading means 1, output the mounting data from a data outputting means, and display them simultaneously on a display 13. The data creating means 2 creates the mounting data including component shape/dimension data for recognition of the mounting position and the components on the basis of the mounting position data and the component shape data of the component text data of the selected component when component selection is input by a component selection input means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
