<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine allowing a player to play a pinball game effectively using the whole play area including left and right sides of a front component member disposed approximately at the center of a game board. <P>SOLUTION: A left-side downflow area 3a, having a sufficient area for dispersively disposing game nails 10 and a windmill 11 which apply variation to the direction of downflow of game balls, is disposed on the left side of a center case 5 with an open window 5a for the variable display facing a display part of a variable display device 4. A right-side downflow area 5b without a winning hole for a game ball to enter is formed on the right side of the center case 5. By sliding a right-side conversion armor member 54a functioning as a left wall of the right-side downflow area 5b to the left side, the left-side downflow area 5b is expanded and entrance of game balls into a special winning hole 9 opened on the upper surface of a winning stage component member 55 is possible.
