PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain a proper communication quality while avoiding execution of unnecessary handover in wireless communication, and to lessen a communication processing load caused by execution of handover. SOLUTION: The wireless terminal 1 performing wireless communication with a plurality of wireless base stations comprises: a means 5 executing predetermined information processing using communication data; and a handover processing means 8 for judging necessity of handover on the basis of the quality of communication data required for information processing when handover for switching wireless base stations 12 and 13 during wireless communication wherein execution of handover is controlled appropriately depending on the required quality of communication data.
