PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a device for correcting shake using vibration type linear actuators by doing the efficient layout of actuators and a lens holding member. SOLUTION: The device for correcting shake includes: a base member 1; a movable member 10 guided by the base member toward a first direction among the directions almost perpendicular to an optical axis; and the lens holding member 3 holding a lens 2 and guided by the movable member in a second direction different from the first direction, among the directions almost perpendicular to the optical axis. The device also includes: the first vibration type linear actuator 9 attached to the base member and brought into contact with the movable member, thereby generating vibration to drive the movable member in the first direction; and the second vibration type linear actuator 8 attached to the lens holding member and brought into contact with the movable member, thereby generating vibration to drive the lens holding member in the second direction with respect to the movable member.
