PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continuous control of luminous energy even when a light source having difficulty in controlling the intensity is used. SOLUTION: A light generator 10 is equipped with a lamp 20, a rotating aperture plate 26 disposed on an optical path of the light emitted from the lamp 20 and having a transmitting part to transmit the light in a continuous form along the rotating direction, and a driving motor 28 to drive and rotate the rotating aperture plate 26 to allow the transmitting part formed in the rotating aperture plate 26 to continuously intersect the optical path. A control device 12 controls the rotation driving of the driving motor 28 so that light with continuously controlled luminous energy can be radiated from the light generator 10 without controlling the intensity of the light emitted from the lamp 20.
