PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet with design characteristics capable of being maintained even when an external force is applied. SOLUTION: The faucet has a covering part formed on its outer surface, at least. The covering part contains (A) silica or at least one kind selected from a group of an average composition formula RpSiO(4-p)/2 (in the formula, R is a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom or a monovalent organic group, p is a number satisfying 0<p<4), and (B) a plastic polymer particle.
