PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored material ameliorated in disadvantages including odor and excellent in heat resistance, light resistance and antimicrobial effect, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The colored material comprises ultramarine blue particles and zinc compound-containing coating layer coating the above particles.
