RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE TREAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve wet-grip performance of a rubber composition for tire tread without sacrificing a mixing processability. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tire tread contains 100 pts.wt. of a diene rubber component containing≥50 wt.% styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber (SBR) having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -30°C to 0°C and 5-50 pts.wt. of wollastonite having an average particle diameter D50 of 1-15μm and an aspect ratio of 3-25 provided that the total amount of wollastonite, carbon black and silica is 90-200 pts.wt.
