PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a glass powder which can suppress the incorporation of impurities, permits mass production, and can manufacture a glass powder having uniform composition. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a glass powder comprises: a step of preparing a powder of raw materials for the glass; a step of preparing a suspension liquid where the above resultant powder of raw materials for the glass is dispersed uniformly in a solvent; a step of atomizing the above suspension liquid to form granules; and a step of melting the granules in the air, to form the glass.
