There are provided an information distribution system and others capable of autonomously distributing/arranging a number of contents required in a distribution system at an appropriate position in the distribution system without providing a separate server or the like for managing the location and the number of the contents. The information distribution system includes a plurality of information processing devices which can communicate with on another via a network and a registration device holding common information in such a manner that the common information can be shared by the plurality of information processing devices. Each of the information processing devices includes: means for receiving common information as an object of recording instruction, recording instruction information, disclosure time information, an evaluation information; means for recording the received common information while correlating it with the disclosure time information and the evaluation information; means for selecting the information processing device for instructing recording of the common information as an object of the recording instruction among the recorded common information; means for transmitting the common information to the selected information processing device; means for updating the evaluation information; and means for transmitting the updated evaluation information, disclosure time information, and recording instruction information for instructing to record the common information, to the selected information processing device.
