The magnetic damper has a load wheel (2), two magnetic damping devices (3) provided with two curved plates (31) upon which are arranged magnets (32), and a damping governor (4) with a rotatable disc (42) and two adjusting rods (43), wherein the outer ends of the adjusting rods are connected to the movable ends (312) of the curved plate. The gap between the curved plates, the magnets and the load wheel is altered for adjusting the magnetic damping on the load wheel.
