The deflector has a retaining rod (11) that is rotatably supported in frame-longitudinal parts of a roof section (12). The rod is transferred from a stationary position to an opening position during opening of a sliding lid using external forces and is transferred from the opening position to the stationary position during closing of the lid by seizing the lid on the rod against the force. A rotatable support has thrust crank mechanics.
