The unit has an adjusting drive transferable on two wheels over a translatory movable, non-self-locking threaded spindle (3), where an electric motor is designed as a hollow shaft electric motor (2) and surrounds the threaded spindle. A locking unit (9) is provided for blocking the threaded spindle, where the threaded spindle is a planetary roller spindle drive. The locking unit operates directly or indirectly on a rotor (2a) of the electric motor by the threaded spindle, where the locking unit is formed as an electromagnetic operated brake. An independent claim is also included for a double track motor vehicle including an adjusting unit.
