A door checker is provided to generate frictional force in an inclined surface and one surface of a slider by interposing the slider between a roller and a checker arm. A door checker comprises a checker arm(10), a roller, a slider, a case(60), a resilient member(18), and a base plate(12). The check arm is attached to the body through a hinge. Concave portions are formed in the check arm. The roller is rotated by the friction with a surface of the check arm. The roller is positioned on the slider so that the lower surface of the roller can be exposed. The slider is interposed between the roller and the check arm. The case covers the slider so as to receive the roller. The resilient member provides a resilient force attaching the case to the check arm. The resilient member is attached to the base plate. The slider includes a cut portion and a positioning recess.
