<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet for which preservation for a long term of an image is steeply improved. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet for jet recording contains an organic compound having an amidine group of formula (1) or an amidoneum cationic group of formula (2) which is in a conjugate state with a π electronic system.
