<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management system for appropriately and efficiently managing using a client terminal a right to access a plurality of documents/folders in a document storage device and for increasing the degree of freedom of edition such as setting or changing users or groups for favorable usability. <P>SOLUTION: In the document management system 1, an image forming device 100 that stores document files in an image memory while designating folders performs a user/group editing process as an editing process such as registering user/group information about the users/groups of the client terminal 2000 in a memory according to operations at the client terminal 2000, or changing or deleting the user/group information, and performs an access authority editing process as an editing process such as registering, in a RAM or the like, access authority information about whether or not a document editing operation for each document file/all documents in the folders is permitted to the users/groups of the client terminal 2000 registered in the user/group information in the memory, or changing or deleting the access authority information, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
