<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discover a substance having TGF-β receptor binding inhibitory action from natural products, and to provide a new TGF-β receptor antagonist containing the substance as an active ingredient. <P>SOLUTION: This TGF-β receptor antagonist contains a mulberry root extract as the active ingredient.
