<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing onion perilla ferment pickles having less salinity and preservable for a long period through adding a perilla ferment liquid to onion pickles. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the onion perilla ferment pickles comprises vertically cutting an onion into 6 divisions, adding salt and vinegar to the onion followed by keeping stirring, squeezing moisture followed by further adding sugar and flavor broth powder, and adding the perilla ferment liquid to the product after a fixed period to finish.
