METHOD FOR REUSING SHREDDER DUST AND RAW MATERIAL/FUEL BODY FOR STEELMAKING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize resins, which are sorted from shredder dust and processed, as a heat source of an electric furnace for steelmaking when shredder dust is thrown in the electric furnace for steelmaking and reused as the heat source of the electric furnace for steelmaking.

SOLUTION: Resins are sorted from shredder dust and the sorted resins are processed to recover the processed resins as a melt-solidified material. Such a raw material/fuel body 60 is molded that the periphery of the recovered melt-solidified material 48 is covered with an iron piece 62 so that the surface of the recovered melt-solidified material 48 is not exposed. The molded raw material/fuel body 60 is thrown in the electric furnace.
