PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control apparatus capable of processing a reception packet at a high speed without imposing load on a CPU, even if not depending on a transmission source.

SOLUTION: The communication control apparatus 101 for receiving a packet to be transmitted via a network 1 is provided with a packet sorter 112 for sorting the received packet into a stream packet including streaming data to be streaming-delivered and a non-stream packet not including the streaming data on the basis of protocol identification information, and a port number included in the received packet; and a bus I/F 113 for transferring the streaming data to a first storage area assigned to a main memory 104, and transferring the non-stream packet to a second storage area assigned to the main memory 104 differently from the first storage area.
