PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide device that has a stable optical characteristic and that facilitates manufacturing. SOLUTION: The optical waveguide device 1 has a structure in which a substrate 11 and an optical filter 13 are fixed to each other with an adhesive 14. The substrate 11 is planar and provided with a groove 15, a first optical waveguide 16 and a second optical waveguide 17, all of which are formed on the main surface. The optical filter 13 has a curved planar shape with a thickness smaller than the width of the groove 15, and is fixedly inserted into the groove 15 with the adhesive 14.
