PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser and its adjusting method which outputs a low-loss single longitudinal mode laser light in a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A first and second etalons 20, 22 disposed in a resonator 13 are held with etalon holders 21, 23 so that the substantial thickness is changeable.
