PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, an imaging method and a program, in which a horizontal property of an image can be easily obtained from one image data acquired by one photographing operation. SOLUTION: When a multiangle photography mode is specified (step S31), a picture for inputting the number of images to be generated and an inclination index value is displayed, and after inputting these values (steps S32 to S37), a subject is photographed (step S39). After photographing the subject, displaying image data composed of multiangle images having a plurality of different inclination angles are prepared from the photographed image data on the basis of the inputted data on the basis of the number of images to be generated and the inclination index value (Steps S41, S42), specific image data are selected from the displaying image data (step S43), the photographed image data are corrected by rotation on the basis of the inclination angle of the selected image (steps S44 to S46) to generate storing image data, and the storing image data are stored (steps S47, S48).
