PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition having improved flame retardancy while maintaining heat resistance, molding processability, transparency, chemical resistance, etc., possessed by conventional PAR (polyarylate)/PCTA (polyester resin composed of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol) resin compositions. SOLUTION: The resin composition is composed of the PAR resin (A1), a polycarbonate resin (A2), the PCTA resin (B) consisting essentially of a terephthalic acid component and a 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol component, a brominated carbonate compound (C) and a phosphate compound (D). The mass ratio of each component satisfies all the following (1) to (4). (1): (A1)/(A2)=(100/0) to (10/90), (2): ä(A1)+(A2)}/(B)=(15/85) to (85/15), (3): (C)/ä(A1)+(A2)+(B)}=(10/100) to (50/100) and (4): (D)/ä(A1)+(A2)+(B)}=(0.01/100) to (0.3/100).
