PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can cope with a web application keeping a user session over a plurality of pages and is simple for a conversion proxy and a web service client in a method for providing an existing web application as a web service. SOLUTION: From an HTTP response sent from an HTTP server storing the web application, session information embedded by a typically used session management method is extracted. The extracted information is included in the response of the web service as user session information returned from the HTTP server. Also, the user session information is included in the request of the web service and sent, and the user session information received from the web service client is embedded in an HTTP request by using a pertinent session management method and sent to the HTTP server.
