摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a solid electrolytic capacitor in which leak current is reduced and ESR characteristics are improved. SOLUTION: The process includes producing a solid electrolytic capacitor where a manganese dioxide layer is formed as a solid electrolytic layer on a chemical conversion coating formed on a porous sintered body of a valve action metal by repeating immersion into aqueous solution of manganese nitrate/thermal decomposition processing a plurality of times. The process includes the steps of: forming a solid electrolytic layer comprises a step for forming a first solid electrolytic layer by performing thermal decomposition processing at 230-250°C following to immersion into aqueous solution of manganese nitrate; and forming a second solid electrolytic layer by performing thermal decomposition processing at a temperature higher than the temperature for forming the first solid electrolytic layer following to immersion into aqueous solution of manganese nitrate.
